About the Event
We are very excited to announce that, in collaboration with Sensory Friendly UV, Northern Stage will be hosting a Sensory Sensitive and Accessible Arts experience on Saturday, December 7th at 2pm.
Please come check out their sensory-friendly accommodations!
•Lights up, sound down! Sound will be capped and house lights will remain on at 30%. Sensory Friendly UV’s Accessibility Team will hold up a warning sign letting people know when loud sounds or intense lighting is coming.
•Social narratives and character guides will be available upon entry.
•Sensory Friendly UV’s Accessibility Team will be on hand to share information and raise awareness about autism. So, feel free to stim, dance, sing, and move around as needed. Fun!
•Need a break? Stop by the Mobile Sensory Station, which will offer sound therapy and other sensory equipment
